Washing and Ironing Instructions
To ensure the longevity and impeccable appearance of your bespoke or MTM shirt, we recommend the following washing and ironing instructions:
Washing
Hand Washing
- Turn the shirt inside-out.
- Remove collar stays (if present).
- Wash in cool or lukewarm water (30°C/86°F) with a mild detergent.
- Avoid harsh detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners.
- Gently hand wash and rinse thoroughly.
- Do not wring or twist the shirt.
Machine Washing (If necessary)
- Turn the shirt inside-out.
- Remove collar stays (if present).
- Use a gentle cycle with cool or lukewarm water (30°C/86°F).
- Use a mild detergent.
- Avoid harsh detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners.
- Minimise spin cycle time to prevent wrinkles

- Line Drying: Highly recommended.
- Hang the shirt on a sturdy hanger, reshape if necessary.
- Air dry completely in a shaded area.
- Tumble Drying (not recommended):
- Use the lowest heat setting possible.
- Remove the shirt promptly while still slightly damp to avoid wrinkles.
Ironing

Use a medium heat setting suitable for the specific fabric (check the care label for details).
Iron the inside of the shirt first, then the outside.
